** Pineapple – a Southern American tradition, served as dessert and symbolizing the warmest welcome a hostess could give. When I sliced this pineapple and the center was heart-shaped, it reminded me that truly ‘our heart is our home‘ and love welcomes us there.

cherished love that matters most (remarkable story)
You are cherished.
The world would not be as colorful, beautiful and loving without you in it. You are the ONLY Sign of Love exactly like you.
There is rarely a day where a heart doesn’t show up in my path and sometimes I’ll discount those Signs of Love as too small or too ordinary to bother taking a photo even though I still feel that happy-heart-opening breath that breathes ‘thank-you’ for this sign.
This little green heart-sprig of moss was one of those times, but Love always counts, always.
And we count, always.
When was the last time you paused for a moment, loved and cherished you?
How easy it is to love those around us, care for their needs over ours and entertain ideas of ‘others’ , or other things being most important.
Here’s what I know. When we open up consistent little spaces for ourselves to fill ourselves up with what we love, a new spark of life is fanned within.
Our spirits crave to be fed and honored.
The only way I know to feed our spirit is by being with the people that make us feel light and happy, by doing things we love that make our spirit sing, listening to music and words that resonate deep in our being, and by walking in beauty taking in all that we love.
Our spirit relaxes when we breathe ever so deeply, when we soak our weary, and miraculous bodies in pure essential oil scented salt-water baths, or enjoy a massage.
Whatever it is for you, that melts you into a deep relaxation and brings moments of pause noticing and loving you.
I write this, this morning, because in my heart, I need this reminder; and so as a reminder to us, may we remember…
When we fill ourselves up, loving us – it is then that we have something to give, and only then, can we truly give from our fullness.
The joy of giving from our fullness is completely delicious. It’s how life is meant to be.
I wish today, you know that it is good to fill yourself up with all that you love, to breathe deeply, relax…
…and know that you, all of you. is incredibly loved and cherished.

Seasons often reveal our foundation…is Love.
Signs of Love are the foundation of all creation.
** it was a misty foggy day walking along the river and I marveled at all the trees intricate foundations exposed. In the spring when all the leaves are budded out and the tree is suddenly clothed in hundreds of shades of green shimmering in the bright sunlight – this architectural beauty disappears. I loved the limbs that curved and formed a grand Sign of Love this day.

when love sticks
Love who you’re with, love while you’re doing, be in Love…
…then Signs of Love will leave their imprint forever.
**this fall while clearing away all the leaves on our deck, I brushed away the few that had landed on the tabletop. One leaf had glued itself to the plastic cover long enough to leave this lovely heart imprint. Do you see the second heart at the bottom towards the point of the leaf…and what about the teeny tiny heart at the very top right? Love multiplies.

love is always the answer
If in doubt – Look for Signs of Love
Follow what makes your heart sing, love is always the answer in every place you feel stuck.
Sometimes we just get stuck. We get in our head and add up all the ways in which we believe we ‘blew’ it and start calculating each and every move we must make to change our life, to ‘do’ better. and then finally – we might be as good as that other person and have a life as great as theirs.
Oh, how our heart suffers, bleeds and turns cold in those moments, because our life was never meant to be lived in our heads, nor are we here to live someone else’s life.
Days are so different when we wake up and breathe into our heart and stay a moment there – just feeling our heart. We remember what WE love and in our heart and mind we pause a moment in absolute gratitude, because in those moments we are free.
Why is it so challenging to trust our heart? It’s the place of flow and joy. It’s the place where all our natural gifts and talents are stored and lay waiting for us to enjoy and share. It’s the place where our ‘cup runs over’.
Trust your heart today. Look for signs of love – the signs you spot that resonate deep within, that make your body relax into the freedom of just being you and the signs that nudge you to nurture, nourish and savor some moments only for you.
This will fill you up, give you clear vision, hope and inspiration to move your feet – and always towards the things you love most.
Looking for signs of love prompts us to do things we love to do, be with those we enjoy most, and surround ourselves with music and words that uplift our spirit; kindness and compassion that wrap our spirit in love.
