HEART DIARY
dimension of Love (remarkable story)
There’s a dimension of Love we can tap into…
where Signs of Love answer you back
We were in Native American country and we wanted this to be an arrowhead heart – so we just pretended.
I usually see heart shapes of all sizes and the not-so-perfect ones right off the bat, but not this one – I couldn’t seem to find the perspective without Micco pointing out the heart shape as the flat elongated rock lay in his hand.
Sometimes, we just need someone else to show us the loving perspective of things.
A few feet away my elderly parents were comfortably sitting close to the water near the mouth of the Saint Joe River in Idaho and about 4 ft. away busy little bee-like critters were buzzing away at some ashy soil along the rivers edge.
Once in a while they would come towards us and this particular time they seemed to zero in on my 2 sisters, stinging their legs a bit.
I noticed my sisters dancing a jig trying to rid the insects as they sprayed repellent all over themselves and I watched the chemical mist fade into the air.
A story a Native American told me a few years ago flashed through my mind. He was in charge of a kids camp and this particular summer bees were especially active and they buzzed around the children traumatizing most of them and stinging some of them.
Finally the Native American elder gathered all the frightened children in a circle and explained that truly, they were the ones that had invaded the bees space.
The bees were there before them and maybe if everyone would just pause in these moments and feel gratitude for the bees, acknowledge that they were there first and ask permission to be there, let the bees know they will not harm them and that they would just like to be in their space for a few days that maybe then the bees would leave them alone.
Together the children and teachers held hands in a circle and sent love, gratitude and respect to the bees. After that – the bees left the camp and not a single child was stung.
My sisters had walked towards the dock, but Dad, Mom and I were still there by the river, by the bees.
In jest, (but in all seriousness in my heart )- I mentioned, maybe we could just talk to the bees silently and send appreciation, love and acknowledgement and assure them we won’t hurt them while we are there.
My dear mom was appalled at the thought – and my precious dad, gentle, but such a strong presence reminded me of a verse in the Bible that mentions ‘man was to have dominion over all things.’ I nodded in remembrance and with great love and respect quickly changed the subject.
Later on though…I pondered.
I pondered the word ‘dominion’. Isn’t it amazing how most often in our culture – ‘dominion’ means ‘violence’.
If something doesn’t perform as we want it to – we hurt or kill, we push and shove…because we have ‘dominion’.
But, what if ‘dominion’ meant Love?
What if our control over bees, plants, insects, each other, our inner selves – what if….dominion means to Love?
Everything, absolutely everything responds to Love, scientists have proven Love makes all the positive difference – and every one and every thing on some level always responds softly to Love.
Violence, control, imposed power – well, we react.
We react in fear, resignation, bitterness, hatred, and violence…and because we force our agenda, things can appear to be exactly how we want them for awhile, sometimes a long while.
And we call this our right, our duty – and we call it ‘dominion’ over all things.
What if our ‘dominion’ was Love and our ‘dominion’ over every single one of our billions of cells in our one and only physical body was ‘love, gratitude and honor’ for every single solitary cell?
What if our ‘dominion’ was Love and we saw with compassionate eyes, we listened with ears that heard the heart, we respected, appreciated and asked permission, we honored one another, our children, the ground we walked on and air we breathe, the plants, critters, creatures, and all…
…. because we all are in this together, and in this beautiful honoring we create the most amazing miracles and make great things happen in the omnipotent power of Love, harmony and peace.

Theresa

Subtle Love
Sometimes Love is subtle – yet Love is always present
Gently Look for Signs of Love today in the quiet of your heart
** Carol Thompson cut a slice of watermelon and this very subtle heart appeared… “so subtle, but ever present”, she wrote.
Love can be like that too.

Love knows
Love knows and fulfills the deepest wish of your heart
Trust as you Look for Signs of Love along the way.
There are 2 lady bugs in this photo along with the straw heart – here for you.
When you see a ladybug in your path, they are known to symbolize ‘good luck’, wishes being fulfilled and protection.
And here’s what Doreen Virtue says about the number 2…” Everything’s fine and will continue to be so.
Keep believing, especially since your feelings of hope lead to more positive outcomes…” (photo by Micco Emeson in Eugene, OR)
Cheers to a day filled with Love, good luck, protection and wishes fulfilled and the knowing that everything is fine and will be fine.
loving you,
Theresa

heart and hand connection
Love in your heart flows through your hands
May your hand print leave Signs of Love today
This is Jeanette Philips favorite ‘hand rock’ – you know the kind that instantly grounds, calms and brings peace when you hold it. She found it on one of her hiking excursions and displayed it so beautifully on this amazing beaded jar she made.
I loved remembering – our hands are connected to our heart and what we touch leaves our ‘love print’,
loving you,
Theresa
