Is it possible that Love is contained in a nutshell?

My phone sounded the familiar ring of someone somewhere that had something to tell or show me.  Hurriedly I glanced at the phone screen, and then stopped short.  

‘Love in a nutshell’, I thought staring at this perfect heart inside a walnut shell. How could Love ever be contained in a nutshell?  That would mean a few simple words – how could that be possible? 

A few simple words that are the essence of life, the deep indwelling peace inside us and yet the forever-expanding, eternal breath of all that is.  
The filling-up of Love that pours through our thoughts and makes us to see only beauty, hear only truth (not what appears to be) and feel the fullness of just being one with our very breath.

This indescribable Love…. that is NOT what we imagine we need to ‘try and get’, or ‘be good and outstanding enough’ to be offered us, or to ‘do enough’ things right to have bestowed upon us.  

It is Love – Love that we already have, already are. When we are aware and inside this Love, we are tender.  We see softly, speak gently, time stands still  as we reverently hold life and take in it’s sweet fragrance.  and we are all of this to ourselves.  

Ah, and how could Love ever be contained in a nutshell?….and then I knew.
The nutshell is the seed.  

Love is the seed of life.

All of life is contained in the seed, what it is – what it is to become. And it is good.
Love cannot be contained,
but it’s meaning can be contained in the life of a seed.

The seed lets-go and begins to transform in the dark of the soil. The place where nothing makes sense except the knowing Light is above and a calling to grow upward and follow light. Love does that too.

And as Love does – the seed grows and transforms again and again.  Moving, expanding, changing and blossoms into multitudes of leaves and often buds that soon bloom and touch our hearts, eyes and senses with delicious beauty.

As Love is – the seed has become…the largeness of life

As Love always will be – the seed seeds itself back in the earth again and again, and grows and grows for eternity.

You are life, you are Love – you are worthy of all the abundance of life, the richness, glory and beauty of all that is.  

Stand still and stand tall today – listen with all your heart, and know …

You are Life and You are Love.
