Sign of Love at Texas Camp out – remarkable story
If we look – Love will mark our path.

My son and his wife planned a camp out during Spring Break with another young family. The families are very close – my son with 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls), and the other family has 3 boys; the children are all of staggered ages.
As I had made plans to visit them during Spring Break, they did their best to accommodate my needs.
My son had a spare tent, and yet it had become a sacred tent as someone they loved had passed on and was the last person to stay in the tent.
For the last 5 years this tent remained unused tucked in a storage corner. This was the tent I was to stay in.
It seemed so fitting that we do a little ceremony honoring this precious person who last stayed in the tent and was no longer with us.
My son and I together paused for these special moments and closed in each other’s arms a warm loving embrace of each other.
If this moment of heart connection was the only experience over these few days, it would have filled me up to the brim, and yet this campout was filled with even more blessings.
My tent was set up in a triangle formation to both other families’ tents. The next morning I noticed this heart rock naturally laying on the earth that served as a beautiful stepping stone on the path between my tent and our friends’ tent.
It seemed like a message of love and gratitude, so I left it lying there in the path. It was a sweet reminder every time I walked there.
On our last day in the campsite, I kept having the feeling I was missing another Sign of Love, so I sat in the crook of a tree until it called to me loud enough that I could see it.
Two trees our children had so enjoyed playing in, on and around, had lovingly wound themselves around each other during their growth through time.
They had formed a heart with their branches high up and above us, holding us all in their loving energy.
