Love is the bridge

Love is the bridge

Love is the bridge that will change every thing.

You know you are on this bridge when your heart trusts – and you see Signs of Love.

** This Sign of Love was a rope casually tossed in a spontaneous heart shape at the end of a bridge that  Abby Gooch (lifeforceconnection.com) came upon as she crossed the bridge in La Jolla, California. Sometimes it takes all the courage you have to walk across a bridge because in your heart you must – and so you go even though you can’t see all that is on the other side.  At the end Love always meets you there and you realize that Love was with you all along.  Love was the bridge.

Holy Mole` Love (remarkable story)

Holy Mole` Love (remarkable story)

Love – never fails.

Look for Signs of Love – no matter what appears to be…(remarkable story-scroll down)

It was our first born – a beautiful boy, and his daddy was so proud as he held his namesake, his precious infant son gently in his strong arms.

There are no words in either my native  language or English that describe the love in my mothers heart as I held my baby close to my heart, fed, nurtured and watched him grow.

As time went on his dad and he developed a strong connection sharing so much that was similar.  Our son responded to our guidance with a beautiful soft heart and yet he knew his own way.

In gratitude we watched him become a man courageously as he learned his life lessons and become even stronger and his inner light more brilliant.

There are times in life we don’t have the answers as to why some thing fall as they do.  It takes everything in us to accept what is happening, to let go of hurt, blame and just be with what is – and trust.

Trust that someday things will change.  Some day our pain and heaviness will go and that maybe we will know joy and freedom in our spirit again.

We stay with ‘what is’ inside us as we struggle and bleed sometimes, and until we finally let go and Love fills all the empty spaces.

We lost our precious son, not physically – he was still here in this world, but we lost our connection with him.  He made a decision to disconnect from both of us.

Heart broken, his dad and I did not understand.

In truth, our marriage and relationship strengthened as our hearts were raw and shattered.  We together went deeper inside ourselves, we shared and tasted a greater dimension of Love we had not known before that comforted and filled our soul.

An ocean of tears, unexpected healing journeys and miracles that spanned angels, shamans, prayers and years…yes, years that we did not see or speak to our precious son.

Love heals, expands and opens us wide – and so, in all the years that have gone by our love for our son has expanded and deepened in the silence.

Last week, our precious son, our beloved first born, his dad’s namesake – knocked on our door…….and we made mole` together.

As we were scraping the mole` into containers, a big drop dropped on the plate.  It made this beautiful heart surprising us both that the drop turned into a heart – a welcomed, miraculous Sign of Love that filled our hearts with unspeakable gratitude.

Gratitude for this day, for this journey and this ‘sign’ that spoke ‘all is well’.

Love at our feet

Love bows at our feet and makes a way of grace.

Watch for Signs of Love that point the way.

** This heart-shaped leaf was quietly laying on the sidewalk in Old Town Temecula, California right at the feet of Abby Gooch (lifeforceconnection.com) – a reminder that when we stay in our grateful heart, Love will pave our way and give us spontaneous signs of Love that reassure and point to our very next step.

Love holds the bag

Love holds the bag

Let go of what is not useful –
Love will fill the space.

Look for Signs of Love as you courageously ‘let go’ today.

** It’s a Sign of Love at the bottom of a bag that Debbie Jones (OM Blossoms) opened in her home in Pahoa, Hawaii one morning.
There truly is no reason to carry those loads of heavy thoughts that weigh us down – dump ’em’ out in the trash….Love will hold the bag.

safety of Love

Love will keep you safe –
every step of the way

Look for Signs of Love today.

** this was on a trail in Mansfield, Pennsylvania that Deonne Wright (deonnesaromablends.com) noticed, not the first time – but later while watching her granddaughters competing in an event.  The girls were pulled off the trail twice because of thunderstorms and made it safely through.
Like Deonne wrote…’even when we don’t know it Love guides the way, –  and Love keeps us safe even when we aren’t aware.’

come together

come together

Unity is a beautiful sign of Love

What if we could come together for the purpose of seeing in Love?

** standing at my very favorite bridge in Eugene, Oregon that over looks the Willamette River, I looked across the way and saw the branches of these two trees bow towards each other and form this sweet heart!  What if we bowed to one another in respect for who we are, just as we are?….I believe we would experience a deeper meaning of Love.

the brightest Light called Love

Love lights up our life –

more than anything else

Notice and pause for the smallest things you love today – and sense the lightness you feel.

** a photo from Carol Thompson from their backyard fireworks display.  I spotted at least 3 ‘signs of Love’ in this photo – I loved how some of the sparks fell in heart shapes.
Love with all your heart today.

Love token – ‘pay it forward’

Love token – ‘pay it forward’

A Love token – ‘pay it forward’

(remarkable story- scroll down)

Sometimes, and probably most of the time – we have no idea when, how or what it was that touched and changed ones life in a day, simply because we were just loving and living, being our authentic self…being a ‘love token’!  I was reminded of this recently, from a story I learned.

A family had moved from across the United States.  Everything was new.  The landscape, culture, food, weather was all different…and they had no acquaintances or relatives to make them feel at home.

Although they had a strong beautiful presence, they were quiet and unassuming as they checked into their new apartment.

During the next few months the landlord hardly saw them except when they paid their rent. She was always happy to see them as they exchanged short cheerful conversation.

One day, this lovely family brought in their notice to vacate, and as they left on the final day, the landlord handed the darling little 2 year old a children’s book she had written.

The landlord knew she would never see this family again – they were headed back across the United States, back home.

Five years later, it’s the same landlord.  She’s at her computer intently focused on her work.  She hears someone walk through the door and looks up.

A gentleman moves towards the office with confidence and a huge smile on his face – he felt so familiar, but the landlord is not recognizing him.

In a matter of seconds the gentleman is holding out his hand to shake…’do you remember me?, he says.  Frantically, the landlord is racing through her mind – who is this person I know, but I don’t know?  All she could say is – ‘you are so familiar’, I’m so sorry – tell me who you are.

He says his name, the landlord remembers the name and slowly connects back to remembering this family from 5 years ago.  The gentleman tells the story of getting the book, of a short conversation that he and the landlord had exchanged way back then, where the landlord encouraged him to follow his heart.

He then, joyfully proceeded to show pictures on his phone of amazing artwork he had dared to do because of having a simple conversation so many years ago where 2 people (in probably a matter of seconds) shared their hearts with meaningful and uplifting words.

This story rang a deep chord in my heart.  We truly have no idea who we touch in a day, it is so worth being authentic, being in your heart and being you.

Even a warm smile can make ALL the difference to a brother or sister, a recognition eye to eye- heart to heart.

Theresa

(ps – I’ll tell you about the ‘love token’ pictured above soon)
For right now, let me just say…I’ve been giving them away and it’s been so fun and amazing!
One day a beautiful lady came into my office feeling so unworthy and unloved, tears in her eyes and conversations about herself that made my heart break.  When I had a chance I picked 3 little roses and put in a little vase that I placed on top of a ‘love token’ by her door step.
That afternoon I had a hair appointment, and as I was waiting my turn outside, a little 7 yr. old girl was playing inside.  She stood in the doorway and peered at me, so I invited her over and asked if she’d like something…then handed her a ‘love token’.  She was so delighted, she ran over to her mom flashing the love token and showing the hair dresser.  While the hairdresser was doing my hair she mentioned what perfect timing the love token was for this precious little girl…due to legalities -she was being pulled away from her mom to live with her dad who she has never been with.  These are just a couple stories….

love reminder

Love reminders are well-timed – yes, Love is here.

Look for Signs of Love – those grace filled moments we sometimes overlook.

** I was sad this day, feeling lots.  I’m not sure why, but often when we feel this way it also seems like somehow we’ve been passed up, missed or forgotten.  Right when similar ‘victim’ thoughts were beginning to expand in my mind, this single heart shaped rose petal – all alone on the concrete so far from any flower bed lay right in front of me.  It was like it fell from the sky just to remind me….’yes, Love is always here’.

Theresa

There’s a string of things that line up with Love – the prominent string is gratitude.

Be in gratitude today – and all you are, all you do will be loving.
